FROM THE SOUTH I-35

  • Take I-35 North
  • Exit Riverside Dr. and head West (left) on Riverside Dr.
  • Long Center is on the left just past the intersection of Riverside Dr. and South 1st St.

FROM THE SOUTH, MOPAC/1

  • Take MOPAC (Loop 1) North and Exit W 1st St/W Cesar Chavez St.
  • Follow W Cesar Chavez St. to Guadalupe St. and veer right onto the South 1st St. bridge, then follow the South 1st St. bridge across Lady Bird Lake
  • Turn right onto Riverside Dr., follow the traffic circle around
  • Long Center is on the right, just before the intersection of Riverside Dr. and South 1st St.

FROM THE NORTH, I-35

  • Take I-35 South
  • Exit Riverside Dr. and head West (right) on Riverside Dr.
  • Long Center is on the left just past the intersection of Riverside Dr. and South 1st. St.

FROM THE NORTH, MOPAC/1

  • Take MOPAC (Loop 1) South 1st St./W Cesar Chavez St.
  • Follow W. Cesar Chavez St. to Guadalupe St. and veer right onto the South 1st St. bridge, then follow the South 1st St. bridge across Lady Bird Lake
  • Turn right onto Riverside Dr., follow the traffic circle around
  • Long Center is on the right, just before the intersection of Riverside Dr. and South 1st St.

Bicycle

There are Austin B-cycle stations (bike share) at the intersection of Barton Springs and Riverside, as well as at the intersection of South 1st and Riverside next to the Palmer Parking Garage . See this map for all B-cycle station locations.

Bicycle parking is available at the Long Center. As you approach the Long Center Parking Garage from Riverside Drive, there is a bike rack located to the right of the parking garage. Best of all, it’s free!

Walk
Walk

Walking to the Long Center from downtown is easy. Just take Cesar Chavez to the First Street bridge. Follow the pedestrian bridge across Town Lake and follow it across Riverside Dr., up to the front lawn of the Long Center.
